For almost a decade, Lara Hill has been making photographic images for a myriad of platforms. Her passion and admiration for the medium have lead to numerous exhibitions held in Edmonton as well as the Netherlands.

Documentation and research have become the primary focus in her contemporary work while continually seeking new and innovative display formats. Though the digital realm is enticing, Lara is a firm advocate for the quality and longevity of film. She uses 35mm and 120mm formats and continues to challenge herself in the darkroom with black and white printmaking.

She is currently working toward the graduate level in communications where by her preceding works, in combination with future endeavors, will merge an artistic aesthetic with the practical use of imagery.
